3D Animation

The Ohlone Digital Arts and Interactive Design Program offers introductory and advanced classes in to 3D Animation. Students learn different techniques to model and animate virtual objects and environments using Maya and Blender.

3D animators can work both in the gaming and film industries, but opportunities are available in other areas as well such as educations, simulation, advertising agencies or graphic design firms. Job titles include animator, character animator, storyboard artist, concept artist, special effects and virtual production animator, visual effects artist and game designer.
